[Question] IRP5 Certificate Correction

Hi, hope you can help me, The PAYE on one of my employees irp5 certificate was incorrect for 201602 tax year we did this on easyfile. Please could you help me on how to re-submit.
I have cancelled the incorrect certificate and have manually created a new one, also i have redone my declaration EMP501 for 201602 now I am not sure how to re-submit.

I also had this problem last year and it was quite a mission, but eventually got it right. You need to rectify the employees IRP5 on the system (not manually) and then redo theEMP501 declaration on easy file, because that would be wrong now. You just have to re-input the figures for the year and resubmit, and all sorted. I am in CT at the mo, so cannot tell you which buttons to push but once you have resubmitted it should be ok.

PS If you don't resubmit, the employee when doing their return will not pick up the changed IRP5

Hi BGreen, this is 100% correct what you have done. But before submitting you need to update the status of the emp501 that you have submitted in the past:
Utilities/EMP501 status dashboard - search for the 201602 and click on update. If it was successfully received, then you can proceed.
Utilities/Full resubmission request/... and just follow the steps.
