    Re-Instating a De-Registered Close Corporation

    Hi All

Hope some-one can advise. I have a client wanting to re-instate their CC and one of the requirements is "Multiple Deed Search (of all ten regions) to confirm whether the entity has immovable property or not. I am based in Cape Town. My question is where can he get this done [I am doing this pro-bono], so would like to give him the address and name of "office" he must go to.

    Regards
    Elijah

    Hi Elija

If he registers with Windeed he can do it himself. Windeed allows you to search all deeds offices in one go.

Yes, a windeed search is acceptable to CIPC.

Prices of searches are available on the site. It's about R8 per search x the number of Deeds offices. He must just make sure that he ticks all the offices on the search screen.

It's a bit of process joining them, however. If he wants I can do it for him and he can reimburse me. Send me a pm if he wants.
