I have been running a small business for a while that specializes in cleaning agents, but have been trying to talk to Midas/Autozone about the process of presenting this to them, any tips on processes that needs to be followed?
I would suggest selling to small firms and individuals first so that you can first build a reputation and service history.
Building a brand is not easy and perceptions about your product is very important.
Do you have people/businesses who can provide references?
Exposure via a website and social media is important. (try Site123 if you don't have a website yet)
Start small and expand in a controlled manner. No use getting big business if your infrastructure cannot support it.
The first time you fail with product quality, late delivery or other service issues, you are out the door and you will never be allowed back in.
Remember, an elephant is eaten in small chunks.
