My business is not yet in operation, we will start next year but i'm wondering what we must do about the submission of the SARS annual return because we currently don't have the financial records to show, any idea what i must do?
i gave to my cc accountant the papers last year in september for 2008 to 2009. we had few meeting to discuss about some problems but from february i can't get any help from the accountant. all the time there is a personal problem which stops her from doing the tax return. she is doing the taxes for my cc from 2005. she never mentioned that she doesn't want to resign. all the time there is an excuse and is a promisse for next week or next month. is any obligation from her side to finalize the job? what can i do at this stage?
thanks.

You just need to file a "zero" return. I believe the answer to BusFact's question will determine whether you can do it yourself, or have to get an accounting professional to do it for you.
