Stripping VIR - worth it or not

    Stripping VIR - worth it or not

    Morning

    We just finished a 24 flat rewire (risers, submains etc) and have a cable mountain of old VIR.

    Usually chuck the scrap cable in for the staff Christmas bonus/party. Don't usually bother stripping less than 6mm

    Can't find info on tinned copper price on line. Is it worth stripping or do we just scrap it as is?

    Or is tinned copper not worth the trouble.
