Hi All, I did a system upgrade of windows 8 and it deleted the companies. I viewed an earlier thread and did it step by step but keep getting and error saying company already registered. When I go back to the log on screen there are still no companies. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Get the 'reset' file from pastel ftp site. Call pastel they will give you the login and it will be right at the bottom. It is called reset12. Then run the program and get a serial number from pastel to reset your Registry file. -
Are you running Xpress V12 Startup (single-company, single-user) or Xpress V12 Multi-Company?
If the latter, then go to Manage Companies and highlight the company folder on the left (it should have a red cross over it), and then click on the "Remove Company" button on the right.
