Pastel 11.3.1 upgrade problem

Hi,

I'm running into problems upgrading Pastel 11 to Build 11.3.1

Background
- We have Pastell 11 on Win 7 & XP Pc's
- DB is Pervasive 8.6 on Linux server.
- We sent off our data to accountant/pastel guy. He upgraded data to build 11.3.1
- As a result we had to upgrade pastel 11 to 11.3.1


Result
- Pastel is working on the Win 7 PC.


Problems
- On the XP pcs' I get this error:
1. If I try to the open the 2015 company (that was upgraded) I get the ffg error:
"you are trying to open a company that has been created by a later version of pastel."

2. If I try to open my older data files (2014), I get "run time error 53, file not found."


What I have tried so far.
- Uninstall and re-install of pastel and pervasive client
- Tried installing on Fresh Vmware XP machine.
- Tried changing Pervasive client to 9.6
- Cleaned registry. Deleted orig Pastel folder.
Nothing works.

Any ideas?

Hi

Problem solved.

The upgrade messed up the pervasive licences on the workstation.

Solution.
1. uninstall pervasive client
2. re-install pastel & pervasive client
3. run pastel.exe from C:\ drive and register licence.
