[Question] Need a Registered Tax Practitioner to Sign off year end Finanical Statements for CC

HI All,

We have a new CC and will have to file annual returns for the 1st time now.

Our Accounting Officer (on CC) form is charging an arm and a leg for signing off the financial statements.

We use Turbocash and hence do all our day to day book keeping ourselves. I have trial balance, b/s, p/l account, cash flow etc and need someone to just sign off.

Can someone please recommend an authorized accountant who wont charge a bomb as we are a very small business who have made a loss

Hi Gabam

I know of someone that can help you, however, its not as easy as signing off AFS. they will need the info as listed below, along with the following:

All customer invoices
All supplier/petty invoices
All bank statements
All salary summaries
All employees tax returns
All VAT returns
All co provisional tax returns
An extract from Turbocash (excel) which shows ALL transactions.

They will then verify the data, and then sign off AFS.

It's rather difficult to quote/estimate off hand but, they will charge them R220 + VAT per hour... If it is indeed a very small company, this should take about 10 - 15 hours.
