I found the video of the guy splitting logs strangely satisfying, and what about the idea of using an old tyre to hold it all together, no logs splitting and jumping all over the place?

What I like about it is that it is simply no frills good design. If it was designed by an American it would have been painted white, covered in fake diamonds and called the iAxe, and if it was designed in China it would break the first time you use it.
