    Cash Drawer

I need some help, I bought 2x of these cash drawers with the USB thingy you need to open it from the computer

The company who supplied it cannot tell me how I should connect it so that the computer opens the drawer.
When we plugged in the USB device, it automatically installed something on the computer, guess it must be drivers or something as I cannot see any software that was added.

So please help, I have these two drawers and do not know how we must automatically open them.

    It's not USB

Complete units come standard with RJ12 Connector plug for printer kick

You need to connect it to your printer. Not a normal printer BTW, a proper POS printer like a thermal printer.

Ja you see that is the thing we use a HP laser for printing. That is why I got the USB thingy because I understood that will enable a USB printer to work.

It was designed to work with a receipt printer. Do not plug it into anything else.

Thanx. We do not use POS, we just print our invoices directly from Pastel onto a laser.
Do you know if one can print invoices on a receipt printer directly from Pastel?
I would love to use the little receipt printers if it can work.
