Military robots must learn military code

    read here.

this has always fascinated me. the three laws work well enough in theory, but that's for pacifist robots.

now we're talking about warring machines, that intend to kill. what makes a civillian? no weapon? dress code? if they're intelligent enough, won't they realise they're pretty much sent in to be slaughtered, and operate their own uprising? and if they're not intelligent enough, what happens when a soldier drops their gun. does the robot accept that they are now defenseless and cannot be shot at?

all I know is that with the precision these things are going to have, any weapon once properly tested is going to turn into a sniper rifle. we'll be running around happy we got that guy in the chest. they'll have a line of critical shots.

I hope we don't see you up on charges for war atrocities or making WMD one day!

even if there was a bug, it would be limited liability...

hahaha, I mean on the programmers side. unless there can be proved that the bug was malicious (like if they fired me and I set all of the robots into kill first thing that moved mode), as far as I can understand, I cannot be held fully accountable.
I may of course be mixing this with the shareholder limited liability in a limited company, but I don't see so.
