    VOIP Phones

Anybody with a voip installation in the office ?

I understand you get a phone and a number supplied by your ISP and get billed R49.00 / month.

My question ............can you run more than one phone via ADSL on the same number ? i.e. Have 2 or three phones in the office operating on the same number ?

I have all the other equipment like ADSL and wireless link.

All I want to do is to be able to answer an incoming call on any one of the voip phones and to be able to call from any one.

    Hi Martin

    Take a look at : http://www.voxglobal.co.za/voip-tele...adsl-pabx.html

There is a single phone and a PABX version available.

Personally, I have the single phone on my ADSL line. I can use both the vox phone and the telkom handset connected to the adsl line at the same time.

Also you can dial *9 before the number on the vox phone and it then switches over to the telkom line ( instead of the voip option ).

Have used it for about 8 months - very happy - saving on call costs quite a bit.
