[Question] looking for ADSL modem with configurable factory default settings

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a modem, of which I can configure the factory default settings before it goes to a client?

One of our clients has remote survailance at one of his shops, and when there's a telkom problem, then Telkom tech's always tell them to first reset the modem to factory default settings. Which off cause wipes the DynDNS settings as well as the port forwarding settings needed for the DVR to be accesible from a remote destination.

So, I'm looking for an ADSL modem of which I can preset the factory default settings with the correct DynDNS + port forwarding entries. Does anyone know is something like this exists? And I would prefer a consumer-priced model if possible.

Surprisingly they don't know everything, even though they think they do

This is more a business-class question, which is why I hoped someone here could know which device(s) could help me.

Gee - who'd have guessed. I would have thought ADSL modem products and settings would have been one of their greatest strengths.
