Why android tablet pc can't store files without a TF card?

Recently we have discovered a big problem of a batch of google android tablet PC which can't store anything without a TF card. Usually when you have just downloaded one mp3 music but it will fade away without any sense. But once inserted TF card, it could work normally.What's the problem of this? Almost everyone tablet pc comes with one 2GB memory space. I blieve that with 2GB memory a tablet can store one mp3 esaily, but the reality is just different. Is there something wrong with the google android operating system?

i suppose not it might be another malfunction or mass damage...maybe even software derangement...one should check if space is being used up...downloading and installing a good File Explorer app could locate any hidden corrupt, auto-dumped files....or rI could be gravely mistaken

This one we have tried but failed. The reason maybe related to the specail of the operating system.

You are welcome and Well ok i didn't know you were comfortable with a complete reformat..but anyway which tablet were you referring to?
