IPV4 is nearly depleted, are you ready for IPV6?

Seeing as IPV4 is near it's end of life
    (http://www.internetnews.com/infra/ar...Final+Days.htm),
I'm curios as who know whether everyone is ready for the changeover to
    IPV6?

Is anyone using it in production already, and what are your experiences with it?

Here's a very interesting article on what's going on: http://arstechnica.com/business/news...l-be-ugly.ars/

Most OS upgrades and new OS platforms support IPV6 already So basically if you use old hardware then you need to upgrade but It will be a painless event. See if IPV4 hits the roof then six will take over and the demand on IPV4 will go down dramatically thus allowing older systems to still access it as is.

        IanF,
It's not a scare, it's reality. Pretty much the same as when you had to upgrade to Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 from a previous version.
And you only need to worry if you run an older Windows than XP, although Windows 7 would be preferable. There's some options which ISP's may implement that won't work on Windows XP, but only if the ISP's go that route. If not then XP would be fine.
