[Question] Excel spreadshheet for our vehicle maintenance

Hi,
I would like to make up an excel spreadshheet for our vehicle maintenance. I need to easly manage and know next service due date based on kilometres travelled.
I would like excel to high light the next due service at least about 2,000km before next service due.

Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Which version of excel are you using? If you are using Excel 2010 then have 3 columns (current km's, service km's, difference). Then use conditional formatting and create a new rule on the difference column with a formula like =c2<2001 and set the format to fill with whatever color you like when the difference is 2000km or less. Once you have tested the formula on the first cell just drag it to populate the balance of the cells. Just remember to save you Excel Spreadsheet whenever you change any numbers and life should be simple.
