    thorn light fittings

i know i always complain about everything...but i have to say i finally found good quality light fittings...

want a really cool looking good quality light fitting for your board room check out this fitting...the pic doesnt do it any justice...

    http://www.thornlighting.com/com/en/...atalogue_f.htm

this light reflects up and down..should be suspended for max effect.

they are rather expensive but if you want your boardroom to look the part...

this light as your main lighting and a couple of downlighters down the sides...makes for a perfect combination.

anyone else know of any good quality light fittings please let us know...this seems to be quite a challenge finding decent quality lighting...back in the day when zumtobel...lascon lighting and the like where around there choice...now there is just expensive junk.

i hear phillips has a good range...only problem is trying to get them in SA

Thanks for the heads-up on the horn fittings, I'll certainly check them out for future reference.

The catalogue link you posted to the boardroom fitting just goes to the e-catalogue selection page.

Edit. You should try Relux software if you're making lighting designs on a regular basis.

go to indoor lighting...surface mount and suspended luminares...sienna

        it has T16(t5)...miniaturised alluminium louvres.

i couldnt get this light unless i was prepared to wait...so i ended up taking the fittings left over from the stadium lighting...which by the way was still very impressive...similar to the spazio super light...only difference...the fitting is a lot more compact to the ceiling...the louvre is manufactured in such a way that you can barely see the tubes while the fitting is switched on...making a perfect light for computor room aplications...the body of the fitting is a lot more solid in comaparison...the T5 49 watt lamps in the thorn fitting just blow the spazio light out the park...you pay more but you get what you pay for...
