emergency stop requirements,

cabling, any special requirements?

You get limit switches from telemecanique with rollers for strikers if the belt's trim is of it will trip .Cutler hammer pull rope switches also work nice .I like to use 220VAC it is easier for most electricians to do fault finding or 24VDC on a PLC system but dc coil contractors are more expensive (24VDC is also touch voltage so can be worked on live )
