    industrial light switches

    the consultant wants lightswitches that have a metal casing and close to unbreakable. it must also be 2 way switching. can anybody recommend something? i cant find anything in the catalogues.

    Crabtree white classic range, i dont like promoting crabtree, but i know of these products.

      Yep, we use the crabtree industrial range as well.

        thanks guys ,but i cant find much in that catalogue. it must be an ip rated lightswitch,preferably metal casing and 2 way switches.

          All light switches are IP rated of some sort. Did they specify a particular IP rating? Are they to be mounted outside in the weather?

              outside in the weather. when i ask him to specify he just tells me to look here and there. i'll probably end up telling him to look himself.

                Yeah, let them know from the go-get that you're not interested in doing their donkey work for them, given half a chance consultants and architects alike will offload as many of their headaches onto other as they think they'll get away with.
