[Question] Qualified to do electrical contracting?

Hi, I have a national diploma in electrical eng and have recently acquired my trade test. Is it possible for me to open a company as an electrical contractor, and do I need to register that business ?
    Thank you

you need sans 10142 (wiremans liscence) as well.
register with DOL as electrical contractor.
as a sole proprietor you dont need to register the business itself.just open a business banking account under your name, trading as "vusie electrical"
      register with workmans compensation.
register with uif if you have staff.
register with sars as a provisional tax payer
      never look back
