I don't think that "V drive" is a make. As far as I am concerned the best is to use Delta from ElectroMechanica

I'm sold on the colour although it doesn't go very well with the orange panel. I've seen a lot of drives in my time but never heard of that one I'm afraid. I wish you good luck with it.

I would far rather install a drive that is readily available and supplied and supported by a well known and well respected company such as Electromechanica than fixate on an obscure brand.

Never heard of the drive so I googled it. I'm not sure if its the one they specified but have a look at http://www.baldor.com/products/accon...s_overview.asp

Apparently, outside North America, you can contact ABB (see http://www05.abb.com/global/scot/scot234.nsf/veritydisplay/03b6fb00c031e38985257a5c0058eea5/$file/BR400.pdf) for more details.

            Hope this helps.

I prefer to use Schneider. Has the customer given a specific reason as to why he wants the "V-Drive". Maybe the customer just lacks training and you could convince him buy including some lite training in your quote

I didn't recognise it as a Baldor, it will almost certainly be a rebranded Eastern origin unit. Did you ask the customer for the suppliers details or for the documentation that arrived with the panels?
