    When your socket circuit trips or is isolated the inverter will apply power to the light circuit which still has eskom power on it. It's a dangerous arrangement and you're likely to cause damage/injury/fire.

    Get a sparky in to install it safely and according to the regs!!! Also insist on a compliance certificate for the installation.
