The customer wants to install a gas hob with the bottle outside with an electric oven. Where do you plug in the hob?
There is a stove isolator but no plug point available and i am sure i have seen regs somewhere which indicate that you are not allowed to fit a plug below the counter close to the hob.

The socket outlet can't be in the same volume as under the hob. So the socket outlet needs to go outside the compartment holding the hob - and then you need to drill a hole into that next compartment large enough to fit the plug top through...
I may as well cover the other limitations - no socket outlet or switch within 120mm to the side of the hob, and also not within 200mm above the hob.
So now you drill a hole big enough to fit a plug which opens the side below the hob.
To make it even more interesting. If you cant have a plug below a gas hob, how do you connect an electrical under counter oven below the gas hob? If you cant have a plug below the gas hob, how to get away with connecting non sealed oven?
Seems once again the people who make the rules clearly dont do site work.
I cant see why you cant just cut the plug off and connect it directly to the under counter oven, no plug required.
