[Question] Certificate of compliance for a prepaid meter

    Please advise

I got work to install prepaid meter ,only on the point of supply.the property has existing COC from the point of control and consumption (DB)
I have been instructed not to remove the old conventional meter. I have installed a meter only .no interference on the point of control and consumption.

Do i issue a full COC or I issue an Abridged COC ?What test do I have to do. in order to issue a COC?

    thanks

    Hi

You do not mention if the COC is metering for a private client or municipality and would need to refer to the EIR in the OHSA

IN EIR ,7 -"every user of an Electrical installation shall have a valid COC "

If you look at definition of Electrical installation - the transmission of electricity from Point of control to point of consumption - and - excludes any machinery of the supplier related to the supply of electricity

If you are installing for the municipality then you do not need to issue a COC.
