There's a rumor going around that from next year on its not necessary to have a N2 to do trade test. You will only write a test at a training centre and if they found you competent, you can do your trade test. is that true?
I don't believe that is true - The qualification and criteria for the qualification electrician have changed from June 2018 ( I say under correction ) and if anything it has become more of a challenge.
I have attached what I believe to be the latest document from QTCO to achieve the qualification electrical and reading through it you would need to be assessed for competency according to the required standards .
