[Question] Ryobi RG7900k - Connecting generator to changeover switch

Hi guys, I'm new here, hope you are all well.
I know this has been brought up a few times with regards to the issue of the VOV winding. Has anyone connected this particular generator model and managed to get the voltage between Earth & Neutral to 0V and get the Earth leakage testing correct.
Would it be possible to bridge out the neutral and earth in the plug top that plugs into the gennie to bring them to the same potential. Would this work without removing the centre tap on earth if there is one? Don't want to open the unit up and change the wiring...
I have not installed yet, client has the generator and I just wanted to check if anyone has any experience with this model, thanks.

You can't connect a VOV generator with a centre tapped earth to a DB, it's downright dangerous.

DON'T bridge the N and the E in the plug top or in the socket, it will blow the generator windings. Also it's creating something similar TN-C earthing arrangement which is dangerous and is outlawed.

Just use the generator as it was intended to be used by running loose extension leads.
