Register as an single phase tester
Hi guys, A few months ago I tried to register as an single phase tester. I sent the following document:
1. 5 years letter from company
2. Unit standards for single phase
3. Red seal trade test.

Then I got a letter in the mail stating I need this: prove competence in constructing a*single phase*electrical installation as well as knowledge of basic electrical principles*

But I submitted a red seal trade test isn't that proof?

Hi Arnie Iv Never heard of that im currently doing my Installation rules also P1 AND P2,If im not correct after doing exams you just have to submit docs and results at department of labour or what is the process?

How many single phase electrical installations have you constructed thus far ?

I don't know exactly what the requirements are, but my suggestion is that once you've done 3 or more then send them proof
with photo's, addresses etc. It seems from their letter that that's what they require.
