Been watching a few UK videos ... I see the guys replacing the DB's with metal ones and having to install metal clips to secure the cabling ... just imagine if they change the rules here in SA.

I understand metal cable clips to prevent cables falling and wrapping up the firemen when there's a fire. Metal DB's is treating the symptoms of poor quality components and workmanship being a fire hazard. Rather treat the root cause by focussing on eliminating unqualified operatives and unsafe cheap imported equipment.

Unfortunately I cant see workmanship quality improving anytime soon ... as for cheap imports ... Toxic waste or should i say waste in general has become big bussiness ... why not manufacture products and sell it ... that way you dispose of the waste and make money
