    SANS 10142-1 (ed3)

Looke like it is time to update my old ed 2 sans book R1171.85

I am considering getting the PDF version ... many years ago the regs were sold on a CD ... cant say I used it that often ... still old school ... like scratching notes in the book.

I am not an ECA member ... is there another source to get electronic COC's

I always buy a couple of hardcopies for scratching in and the workshop and PDF for reference when I don't have the hard copy close by and easier to copy and paste to answers that I seem to do for the region.

ECA are going to make the electronic copy available for non members , shortly , the way I understand. I know there is somebody on the forum that can possible give a better answer as to when.

I contacted the ECB ... they sell electronic COC's but on to members

R900 memebership ... how is it going to benefit me ... I would rather pay to be part of a group that was interacting and sharing knowliedge which would benefit me.

      R1100 for a hardcopy SABS.

I dont know if I understood the person correctly ... I think he mentioned that you can create your own COC's and numering system ... I wish we could ... the layout of the COC ... let me rather not say what I am thinking.

An Edition 3 compliant ECoC roll-out is imminent, but my expectation is it will be for ECA members only for a couple of months at least.

For how long may we still use the "old" hardcopy forms ?

The test report on my forms don't make mention of neutral impedance tests.

I still have a couple of books left.
