As I only heard today that from 31 July2021, we will not be using the old 4 pages CoC template

Hi Fredre,

Apparently you have to be an ECA member and then log onto their website to be able to print the "new" coc. Needless to say I will NOT be joining them, EVER, so i will be using my old COCs which still complies with the EIR of 2009 Regulation 7 (1).

Non members can also purchase from ECA, hard copies - There are other organizations selling COC's

For Electronic COC's through the ECA you need to be a member - There are plans to open up to non members but that may be awhile still

A template of the "new" COC's are in SANS 10142-1 ED3

I still have enough 4 page COC to last me until I retire ... in 30-40 years time ... not a big fan of issuing COC's.

Most properties I work in ... dont have legit COC's to start with ... so I couldnt issue a COC even If I wanted to.

Good morning guys.

So I went to the ECA, they took my DOL Reg nr, my IE Nr, and that was it, lady gave me 20 x 1page template CoCs for R100, and I am not a member of the ECA.

So just a question about the Template in the Sans10142 ED3, its just a template with 1 nr on it, isn't each CoC supposed to have its own unique nr ?? And Ed3 is like R1300!!
