Could I ask what the general fee would be to replace a mains breaker in a DB including the call-out?
Also, i assume it will require a COC on replacement? Even if it's the exact same breaker?
It should cost between R800 - R1000 including labour and material ... as Andy noted ... no COC required.
If it is a straight forward remove and replace ...
However ... not always that simple ... from my experience ... because it might be an old Heineman type with the old clip system ... replacing it with a Heinemann breaker is going to break the bank ... you could replace it with a NUR (cost around R180) a adaptor plate will still be required ... or you could use a din rail mount breaker much cheaper ... but a little more work required to fit ... if it is an old heneman type main switch ... the reis a chance it is narrower than the new ones ... which could involves cutting the cover to fit or moving the breaker over slightly.
Take a picture and post it.

Without knowing the size and extent of work , I don't think we can answer - Is it a 80Amp single phase system or a 1250Amp CB with busbar arrangement that may now need busbars to be changed and flexible cable used .
Will you be able to carry out the work in normal time or afterhours
The distance that will need to be travelled and time lost travelling.
Will you need to get the local authority in to switch off the incoming supply
