We used to install the same. Replaced a few shuttles as well but all seemed alright. Admittedly not done many.
I will soon be doing 39 synerji bulbs and then a mixture of the synerji dimmable module ( looks identical to shuttle) and then another new brand of dimmer module called "bekkel " only 115VA, not sure of PF, but doing max 6 bulbs.
Will report on them as best I can so we can have some tracked research as well.
Yesterday I came across some led downlights that flickered in the evening, around 7pm, so the customer tells me.
Only the lights on Dimmers flicker, all at the same time, around 7pm.
When dimmed the lights do not dim more than about 20 percent
They are powered by a Shuttle dimmer, SDIM-T-LED-500W.
The lights are 220v Pioled Gu10 4.5w CW DIM, there are 8 on that particular circuit. All the lights in the house are the same, downlights, but not all are on Dimmers.
To be honest I was not sure as this is not my area of expertise.
Customer has decided to remove the Dimmers.
Any ideas?
To make a mistake is human, to learn from that mistake is knowledge and knowledge is strength.
Add one single 20W incandescent light to the circuit.
