    Electric automatic threading machine

Does anyone have or have used one of these before?
    Basically replaces a fishtape.

Looks like a cordless drill with a roll of wire mounted on top of it.

Keeps coming up as an ad on my facebook.
Looks great but is it as effective as made out to be.
I do alot of conduit in floor slabs, walls etc so this is something I'd defo be interested in.

Anyone used one of these before?

We use a 30m nylon fish tape for general use.

When things get a little tricky, we use the vacuum with a plug on a wax coated string.

If the vacuum doesn't work, then it time for the wire mate.

If you have a wet and dry vacuum, its doesn't matter if the conduit is full of dust or water. I have found that the vacuum is handy to a point, but not always the best solution.

I have the double action pump which works every time and the added bonus, you can blow the crap out the conduit rather than suck it all in the room you are working, it also saves time with having to drain the vacuum or prevent damage to the double action pump.

You really just need the shuttles and adaptors, its just a standard double action pump.

Details about the WIREMATE Pull Cord Installer/Conduit Fishing Kit available in South Africa.

I have never used an automatic threading machine, so I cant comment on the product.

I have found, using the waxed coated twine is way better than a soft steel draw wire.
