    [Question] Battery capacity tester

I am looking for a battery capacity tester, any suggestions?

RS components have one for around R7K.

We all know you get what you a pay, but is R7 k the only the best option for an capacity tester ?

I use 2 x 50 watt lamps to verify the batteries are past the recovery stage, it works for dead batteries but doesn't indicate the capacity still in the battery once fully charged. I know its cheaper to just throw the battery away and replace it, but I have a box full of them which didnt fail the lamp test but not sure if they are worth keeping. I have started using them for site lights, which I make up using 12 VDC strip lights.
Comments are my opinion, unless regulations are attached to support the comment. This is social media, not a court room.
