Portable Inverters used as permanant supply ??

I have a few customers who have purchased 3 to 4 of these portable inverters on wheels.
They have leads running through the roof now connecting bedroom plugs and office stuff.

Now there is zero earth leakage protection other than the plug the inverter is plugged into.

What does the powers that be say to this, what do they recommend .

Unfortunately the purchasing of inverters etc is a grudge buy forced by load shedding and the homeowner perceives the services of an electrical contractor to ensure that the installation is compliant as a further grudge purchase which they avoid .

If there is a one appliance plugged in as a portable unit , I see no problem , when extension leads and multiply appliances plugged into one unit it is then part of the electrical installation and needs to conform to the regulations
