    Online service sheets

I am looking for a system which offers an online service sheet.

    Something like tradify.

I must be able to list labour, material and travelling.

A payment system included for customers to pay before I leave site, would be an added bonus.

The checks in the mail (the person who does the payment works from home) or one of the many other excuses should not be a thing anymore.

We have the technology for people to pay before you leave site, I dont get why we still sit with outstanding payments.

I have just been caught again, I got a deposit, but now to get the balance has become a really challenge.

To some some people R20k is pocket money, if I dont paid R20 k, then I have to increase my overdraft facility to fill the vehicle with fuel (at R2500 to fill the tank), when you filling 4 times a month it becomes quite a burden. I dont want any debt.

I have paid up all my credit cards and reduce my overdraft facility to an absolute minimum. I dont see why I should be the one extending overdrafts and credit limits.
Comments are my opinion, unless regulations are attached to support the comment. This is social media, not a court room.

My brother, all us small okes have the same problem, never knowing if final payment is gonna be forthcoming.

I've tried the lot, but the system that works the best for me is breaking down any biggish job into 4 phases and quote as such.

    Example: Electrics for new dwelling.

    Phase 1. 50% commisioning deposit.
Phase 2. 20% for cutting, chasing and conduit work.
    Phase 3. 15% for wiring.
Phase 4. 15% for connecting and fitting plugs, switches, etc.

Progression to any next phase only happens after payment for previous phase has been received.

This way, I am always paid for work completed. The coc, when the job has been completed is "free".

    Works for me.
