Preparing for a CoC tomorrow. Cust has an outdoor fish pond and an IP x5 rated socket on Earth Leakage supplying power to the pump.
SANS10142-1:2020 in 7.2.2 refers to zones.
I've assumed this fish pond is an "ornamental pool".
Am I correct in saying the socket outlet must be 2m minimum away from the rim of the pool, I.e. Zone 2?
This would make sense to me as someone shouldn't be able to stand in the bowl of the pool and operate the socket switch.
