Something I learnt the other day while installing a 63 amp double pole changeover switch.
A 3 position changeover switch cannot be used as an isolator.
I also found a slight glitch in the wiring for the changeover panels, which we have since updated. We now install 2 double pole isolators before the changeover switch. The reason for the change, now you can switch off the inverter and still have the power feeding to the essential supply via the changeover switch, but you can also isolate the power to the changeover switch independently.
