DOL COC audits.
I dont run a school, so I have no idea what all the safety requirements that need to be in place.
Is it common practice for the DOL to request a COC as part of their safety audit, then fine the school if they dont have a valid COC in place.
To me it would be a no brainer that every safety precaution should be in place.
I get involved in factory safety audits, and back in the day the public works department would be responsible for the building safety.
I suppose with all the private schools popping up all over the place, this has become quite a challenge.
