Do you take the R26k battery or the R36k battery?
I feel sorry for people throwing money at solar installations, it still too new to gauge the life span of product, yet people are committing to 25 year payment plan, smart people are taking advantage of the current power crisis.
I get emails daily with quotes ranging from R135k to R500k.
The going rate at the moment:
5 KVA inverter, 5 kwh, 6 panels around R145k
8 KVA inverter, 10kwh, 6-10 panels around R250k
Then crazy prices for people hoping to go off grid in excess of R250k
Why spend R36k on a battery, is the battery a better quality?
Most spec sheets I have read all seem to say pretty much the same thing, with warranties that will out last most companies supplying the goods.
Is it all a money making scam?
