auto switch from PV's to mains

Good Day Forum – I’m interested in the topic about automated changeover switching on an inverter. The system installed is an 8.8kW Sunsynk with batteries for loadshedding and working well as designed. There is no plan to go off-grid, so mains supply needs to remain an integral part of the system.
We added 16x 550W PV panels to the system and need to make them work for their money, eg power A/Cons, S/pool and HP as well as electric car charger in future (whenever this will be).
For obvious reason those items have not been connected to the inverter/battery and are run from the mains supply (when available). Now with the PV installed we want to power those items from the PV’s, BUT still never from the battery.
Only when PV’s are working during sun/day light conditions should they power the items, which means any auto switch system must be driven by those conditions as well.

If the Sunsynk is set up correctly and feeding back to CT with the CT situated at the point of supply then the excess PV will automatically feed your grid and anything on it - You may need to just move your usage of the loads to maximize the advantage of the sun through the use of timers

Your installer can make the adjustments from their phone or plant list on a laptop.

So long as you inverter has the latest firmware 6.0.2.4 and the remote access is ticked.
Comments are my opinion, unless regulations are attached to support the comment. This is social media, not a court room.

You may also want to check your general/auxiliary port as a possible source for connecting these devices. It can be programmed for this purpose.
