Should electricians be allowed to work on properties with solar installations

Should electricians with no formal training or experience in the backup industry, be allowed to work on properties with solar installations?

    My thoughts,

I have a few qualifications and a bit of experience in the electrical industry and it has taken me a while to catch on and understand how to install and setup these systems. I am still busy putting together the safe isolation process document and creating all the documents which should be required for all solar installations, site layouts with places to isolate the power, earth test points, earth spike locations, essdential and non esseantial DBs scattered around the property etc.

A year ago I was hestitant to work on properties which had solar installations. I feel a lot more confident now, with the knowledge I have gained from reading all the manuals, watching hundreds of training videos and completing a couple of installations.

Would you trust just any electrician working on your property if you have a solar system installed and they have no experience in solar?

I still get a bit nervous when visiting a site with solar installed, especially if I havent done the installation or worked with the person who has done installation.

What are yoru thoughts on this topic?
Comments are my opinion, unless regulations are attached to support the comment. This is social media, not a court room.
