Information shared on social media platforms and groups, how dangerous is the information being shared ?
I have noticed there is a lot of information being shared on social media, some good and some not so good, and some just not even relevant to specific applications.
Just because 1 person says you must use 6 mmsq wire for somethings doesn't mean it applies to every application.
The sad part is forums and groups are the new "SANS" regulations, what is said on groups or forums must be fact, right ?
Beware of expert advice on social media.
I am not saying dont take advice on social media, just make sure you verify the advice and that the advice is even application to your application.
Like it has been pointed out in past posts, social media is like chatting in a pub, it's a great place to share info and get ideas, make new friends and discuss various topics.
Don't think for a minute that a post on social media would even be considered as credible evidence in an investigation.
