Earth leakage socket outlet

Is there A socket outlet with built in earth leakage ?

There is a crabtree with built in circuit breaker.

Reason is this one house, a ghost house, could really use each socket outlet with its own earth leakage.

But more so just the way I'm thinking and think it would be really cool.

There's lots of them but only in the UK 13A socket format unfortunately. If you comb through the UK ones you might hit lucky and find one that's in a modular grid format where you could swap the sockets for SA 16A type.

LeGrand do RCCD modules but I'm not sure exactly what grid system they fit into and whether or not you could build up a socket with one in it, you'd have to download the datasheets and do some homework. It's LeGrand though....so whilst it's good kit it's gonna be expensive. Clipsal used to also used to do a module which I came across many years ago in a datacentre but it appears to be discontinued.

Yes ya I see the UK have but there boxes are different however will look at the grid things.

And thank you, will look into LeGrand. As you say it's expensive but sometimes needs must.

I see Onesto is bringing in RCBOs next year Jan I believe according to my supplier, I am keen to see that all as well as that will be great on re wires etc.

RCBO'S are great, however in most, if not all, domestic installations there are multiple socket outlets on a circuit.

In my long career I cannot remember ever not being able to trace an earth fault using my ancient analogue megger. 👍
