    Single phase tester

It is good to see the DOL has released a statement with regards to single phase testing, DC and the point of control.

      Hi Graham,

I cant verify the source yet, which is why I didn't copy and paste it.

It was a copied page sent to me, dated the 6 March 2025. Once I can verify it is legit, I will copy and paste.

If it is legit I am sure the ECA would have a copy by now.

It was sent to the ECA SA on 11 March 2025.

Would have helped for future reference if the ECA used a date format that could be understood - 20 Wednesday 2025 is not going to be easy to identify and pin down

The ECA SA has now submitted a formal appeal against the interpretation issued.

Just smile........ if ECA say the chief inspection is incompetent (issuing a notice for SPT), who do we believe?

As for the NRS and SANS, it becoming a joke doing SSEG registrations.

We are tradesmen not engineers, make up your mind, simplify the regulations and pick one to work with. Lets not start with lithium batteries, I have got to a point where, I do what I think is right, that is the best I can do with the information available and if I get challenged well I tried my best, that's all I can do. I have had different engineers look at the installs and just smile when I get the reports
