    LED lights

Do you think it makes a difference if you buy them from a "reputable" distributor or anyone who supplies them at a good price.

I use to think supporting a well known brand would save my customers money in the long run, which has proved over the years, not to be true.

What I find is that in the past there was an issue with heat and condensation, which resulted in blown drivers, it seems most of the brands have overcome this challenge by installing a breather (if there is no breather stay away).

Now that we resolved that issue, it seems one brand in particular, is using a low grade LED, because just about every faulty fitting has 1 or more little black dot on the strip or flood, the drivers are ok.

A way to save time and money, was to move away from purchasing brands which dont offer onsite advice and technical support.

Mesmerise lighting has certainly saved the day on more than one occasion. I would highly recommend them, they also offer on site assessments, which has resulted in a few happy customers, thanks to the provided the perfect solution, both in looks and colour for the occasion.

We have had a few challenges, one call and within 24 hrs, the issue have been resolved.

I cant say the same for all the LED suppliers, looking at the white board in my office, I have notices for faulty lights dating back to Jan 2024.

A reply to a comment I made on social on social media, indicated that I should email them again to follow up. Let try again today and see if any of the notices on the board will be resolved in the next 6 months, I am certainly not holding breathe.
