Could someone please direct me as to where I could find the latest classifications and explanations of the different zones for Hazardous locations?

I have notice an increase in enquires for MIE type work and considering focusing on it a lot more in 2026.

I am considering creating a group where MIE's can discuss challenges we face, look into refresher courses on the weekend.

You would have to prove you have the skill and qualification to become a member and contribute to the discussing on a reguler basis.

I have discussed this with a person who has years of experience and was a lecturer for this topic for many years, I will update on this forum if or when it happens.

What we found on the groups we have already tried, a large percentage of the group dont interact or expect everyone to find solutions to their challenges., without adding value to the group.

What many dont relaise is the time value of experts sharing their knowledge.

Which is why I have also considered starting a plaform that people have to pay to be members, that way people who add value are rewarded for their time.

Sounds like a good initiative. I agree. Participation will be of great value. Some of us don't always feel confident enough to give our input but as long as we respect each other. This will contribute much to the success of such an initiative.
