    Price Per Point

So I'm use to doing the work but now find myself where i mast do quotes for new residential homes from builders. What is the going rate around the western cape per plug point, concrete light point, concrete downlight point, Ceiling light, Aircon point, LED light point, Stove point, Gate motor Point, Geyser Point etc? and does the point price include the brand of plug or switch? would the light switch be an additional point like a 1L, 2L, 3L, 4L and 5L switch? and how do you work in 2 way switching and intermediate switching into the quote

How would you structure the payments, and anything else i should look out for?

A tip from soemone who has been there done that, and been burnt more than once, just dont. Unless you have twin plaster depth teams who can knock out multiple units per day.

All the double cab 4x4 bakkies you see every now and again, chances are its some contractor who has been awareded a large estate or contract to build large housing developments , take note of how long they last, 2 years maybe. When yo uask the wholesaler what happened to them, the reply is fernally the same... they owe us more R500 000.

You need to be ruthless and willing to exploit people to the extreme.

Dont say I didnt warn you.

If it is a spec build, rather deal directly with the customer,

or start a hit and run company with a contact number specific for those jobs, that can hire and fire cheap labour. Then close it and dump labour which only meet and work on that site.
