CBI earth leakage units

anyone else problems with CBI earth leakage units....i have been replacing earth leakage units dated "march 2006" more frequently than any other unit.

please let me know if this is the case with anyone else.

i have installed earth leakage units more than 10 years ago which are still working...now suddenly over the last couple of months i have found that the majority of units i have replaced are dated march 2006...i find this very strange.

if anyone needs an earth leakage changed because it keeps tripping for no reason...check the date on the side and dont throw it away...send it back to CBI for a report and lets us know.

another issue i have found is clipsal plug sockets installed around 2005/6...they seem tight when you push in the plug...this is a factory fault...the earth terminal hole is too small and needs to be expanded.

Yes, I agree with the E/L. I had to rush to my friend's house the other day and it was strange that a 2006 unit packed up.
