Double tube Double headscratch

Hi all,
I am asking you guys out there if you have any line drawings for a 18 W, double tube , one ballast, two starters fluorescent fitting . I feel a bit sheepish about asking but I have looked on the WWW. And there is not much info on this type of configuration. I have never come across this type of fitting before I have done 8 ft double Slim line, H.O. V.H.O. 6ft, 5ft, 4ft double and single tubes, but I am a bit stumped on this and I will admit I sometimes have hassles trying to get a torch working , any help out there from the bright sparks ?

Can you give the make and model of the ballast? It could be a series arrangement but it depends on the ballast. Starter details would also be handy.

i havent got a drawing but just remeber to use the smaller starter otherwise if you try use the normal one we use for 5 ft fittings you will wait till the cows come home before it starts...if ever.

i cant remember seeing that configuration before ,but i can imagine you would need a 40 watt ballast. the 2 tube circuits would be as normal but in parallel on 1 ballast.live in ballast 2 circuits out.if there was only 1 starter then it would be connected series.as murdock said use 20 watt starters.

Thank you I shall take the advice that has been given and change the starters, the ones that are in are 4 – 65W the ballast is a 36/40W and the tubes are 18W each. Now that my memory has been jogged I recall having to change starters to get the fittings to work. I’ll put 20W ones in, I attach a drawing of the wiring,
